Breakfast   Saturday, August 7th. at our hangar at Mt. Hawley Airport, around 8:00 AM. See you Saturday!

Annual Picnic   Instead of our regular second Wednesday of the month Chapter meeting, we will hold a picnic on Saturday, August 21st, at our hangar at Mt. Hawley Airport, starting at noon.

The Chapter will provide the meat and beverage. Please bring a covered dish and your own table service, as this will be a potluck affair.

Last Month   We met on Wednesday, July 14th. at 7:00 p.m. in our Chapter Hangar at Mt. Hawley Airport.

Celebration of Flight 1999   at Hobby Hideaway R&D (Hobby RLA) 1840 BRownwood Rd. Delavan, IL. 61734. For all forms of aviation. Come and fly or speak airplane on Saturday, August 7th. begining at 9:30 a.m.

At 11:00 a.m. there will be a GRANT MIMLOCT SPECIAL EVENT: A Charles Hampson Grant Cloud Tramp stick rubber nodel mass launch. A world wide mass launch of Cloud Tramps and other Charles Hampson Grant model designs.

There will be flight lines for R/C, C/L, F/F and Kites. Bring the family, a picnic lunch, and enjoy a day in the country with aviation and aviation enthusiasts. If we can’t fly, we will speak airplane.

Directions to Hobby RLA: Coming from the north on I155, take the 122 exit to Delavan, go 1 mile west and turn south on blacktop for 2 miles. From the south on I155, take the 136 exit and go north on the service rouad 2 miles to the Armington exit. Go 1 mile west (over the overpass) and then 1 mile north.

If Flying, the strip is N_S 1350 ft length sod. There was a fence at the north end. The south end has a gravel road which adds 50 ft before crops.
