We are Chapter 563 of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), located at the Mt. Hawley Airport (3MY) in Peoria, Illinois. Whether you build them, fly them, own them, or simply enjoy chatting about them, you'll fit right in here! Chartered in 1976, we have a long-standing reputation for promoting aviation education and fostering community. From our semi-monthly pancake breakfasts to our numerous youth programs, we're dedicated to sharing the passion for flight with the next generation. We meet often to share stories, technical knowledge, and our love for all things aviation; we'd love to have you join us!

Our most recent newsletter is the May issue. Some highlights include the selection of a new Ray scholar pending national approval and a record-breaking 15 parent ride-alongs at this month's Young Eagles rally. The Zenith Cruzer also hit a major milestone, rolling outside for the first time to test the avionics. Mark your calendars for our June 7th fly-in/potluck to celebrate 50 years as an official EAA chapter and make sure to RSVP by June 1st; you won't want to miss it!
